Charlotte Bobcats New Logo & Uniforms

The Charlotte Bobcats revealed their new logo and uniforms to the world yesterday. The Uni’s look pretty good, they are nothing to really write home about, however sometimes simplicity is better. Not sure how we feel about the “Cats” across the chest, but according to the Charlotte Observer the fans in Charlotte always chant ‘Lets go cats,’ during games, so we guess it makes sense. The Observer also reported that Michael Jordan has always wanted to get rid of the orange as the majority color and implement “North Carolina blue” into the color scheme. Bobcat fans might not want to get used to these new Uni’s though because there has been an uproar in North Carolina for the team to go back to being the Charlotte Hornets, since the New Orleans Hornets new owner Tom Benson wants to discard the name for a more Louisiana related mascot. Hopefully the change of the jerseys and talks of changing the name back to the hornets will change the play of the team. They had to be the worst NBA team from top to bottom that we have ever seen. The only thing that can help them is if the bring back Alonzo Mourning and Larry Johnson from the old Charlotte Hornets team. Check out the Uni’s and let us know what you think.
